On November 30th, following the on-site inspection by leaders from China Nonferrous Metal Mining Group, another delegation of central state-owned enterprise (SOE) executives visited the Shukongping Phosphate Mine of Hubei Xingfa Group after attending the Shanghai International Engineering Machinery Show (bauma China). They conducted an on-site evaluation of Kaishan Heavy Industry’s intelligent tunneling jumbo (underground rock drilling robot). This marks another significant field test for Kaishan Heavy Industry’s intelligent rock drilling equipment.
At the Shukongping Phosphate Mine of Xingfa Group, four intelligent tunneling jumbos (underground rock drilling robots) have already been put into operation. The visiting leaders gained a detailed understanding of the working principles and operational procedures of these intelligent rock drilling robots. Leveraging their intelligent features, the robots enable unmanned on-site operations, allowing operators to observe and control the entire working process from the monitoring room. The application of this innovative technology not only significantly enhances mining efficiency but also effectively reduces the risks associated with manual operations, providing a strong guarantee for safe mining production.
To further evaluate the performance of the rock drilling robots, the leaders of the central state-owned enterprises personally descended into the mine tunnels to observe the robots’ operations up close. In the dim and complex environment of the mine, the rock drilling robots demonstrated exceptional precision and stability in their operations, earning high praise from the leaders present.
The leaders remarked that the application of this intelligent mining technology offers significant advantages in enhancing production efficiency, reducing production costs, and ensuring safety. They emphasized that it will play a substantial role in achieving new engineering goals. They highlighted that this not only represents a major breakthrough in the intelligent transformation of Xingfa Group but also stands as a significant achievement for Kaishan Heavy Industry in the field of intelligent mining technology.
